This scholarship was established in honor of Katie
Christiansen in 2003 and in 2008 upon the death of Nels
became the Nels & Katie Christiansen Junior Golf
Scholarship. In 1983 our mom and dad started the program
with four golf courses and a handful of golfers. It has grown
due to their hard work and dedication. The scholarships
are awarded each spring to golfers going on to college who
have participated in the program.

Harry Funk.

The junior golf family lost a great supporter when
Mr. Harry Funk passed away recently. Harry was the
grandfather of Brandon McIver who played in the
program for over six years. Mr. Funk attended
almost every tournament Brandon played in and we
will miss him. His family has graciously asked that
anyone wishing to do so to donate to the
scholarship fund. Next year we will award
scholarships in his name with the funds we receive.
